From my research you hear the phrase “I need valentine ideas for my husband a lot. This is because as a wife your imagination may be a little stifled. This can be because you are thinking too hard and can’t seem to come up with what you think will be a good gift for him. Not to worry as there are a lot of great ideas for gifts to give him.

(1)    GIFT BASKETS – You can order many great gift baskets online today and have the gift issue resolved now.  Gift baskets today come in all shapes, sizes, and price ranges. They can include beer or wine and snack related items to go along with his favorite beverage. You can even have a picnic on the living room floor if you can’t have one outside and give him his basket then. The two of you can have a great time sharing the goodies.

(2)    TICKETS TO A SPORTING EVENT – Most all guys love sports of one kind or the other. Simply get him tickets to a sporting event of his favorite team.  You don’t have to take him on Valentine’s Day but you sure can. If you want the night to be some other special event you have planned or that he has planned simply take him on another night or send him out with the guys to the event later.

(3)    GADGETS – Just think about his favorite interest. There is always something in his area of interest he doesn’t have or better yet that he covets. This could be a specialized tool, a subscription to a magazine about his interest or hobby, or an item that allows him to do something faster, better, or easier. It could be something related to his car, truck, boat, motorcycle, rv or whatever. Better yet it could be something he always has to borrow from a friend or neighbor.

(4)    SOMETHING HE WILL REALLY USE A LOT – He may need a new shaver, slippers, a robe (try personalized clothing), maybe a sports jersey from his favorite team, valentine boxer shorts with devils on them (guys can always use new boxers and we all think there is a little devil in us), or some items he can use for the grilling or cooking he does (barbeque tools, heat resistant gloves, new grill, grill cover etc.)

(5)    CAR OR TRUCK DETAILING – Guys like to have a nice looking car or truck but may not have the time or the place to take care of the job the way it needs to be done. Many times you can find a person that comes to your house, takes the car/truck to a location and completely details it (wash, wax, interior cleaning including upholstery/carpet etc) and then returns it to your house. What a great gift for him. The detailer will usually do a more thorough job than your husband would or has time for. By doing it this way he doesn’t even have to leave the house. He can be watching his favorite game as the job gets done. If you have to ride in the vehicle all the better for you.
